LICENSED INTERIOR DESIGNERS
Does your project require a Licensed Interior Design professional?
In Alberta, Licensed Interior Designers are required to be involved in design projects with the exception of those projects, which involve buildings below regulated occupancy type and size exemption limits. This is outlined in the Alberta Association of Architects Architects Act, and the National Building Code, Alberta Edition; as enabled by the Safety Codes Act.
COPPER 8 is an authorized entity with the Alberta Association of Architects. Bobbi and Natasha are both Licensed Interior Designers.
“We did an audit on the efficiency of the project and the numbers look great. The change order total on this project not including additions made to scope from the client; is 1.9%.
As you guys know, these types of projects typically run well over 15% on CO’s, sometimes over 50%. Nice work all, this is something we take pride in at LED. This speaks to the high level of accuracy in the drawings.”
